Eliza Ray : The Interview

Statuesque and enticing... Eliza Ray carved her own way from simple beginnings in Santa Cruz, CA to her current successes as a model and student in Boston, MA. Her professional modeling experiences range from bridal shows for David's Bridal and Jean Henson to an all-star cast of Boston-based designers like Venni Caprice, Marnya by Avari Thomas, Ynez by Inez Antigua, Zeiri Lantigua, and Julissa Castillo. Eliza's rich portfolio includes work with Rhode Island based Illwear Fashions and New York's own Emma LaRose.

Ms. Ray earned her Associates Degree in Medical Assistance from Heald College in Milpitas, CA and moved to Boston to further her education in Nursing. Eliza's modeling career helps to finance that aspiration. Blessed with versatility, intelligence and warmth, Ms. Ray lights up a camera lens. She has worked with Richard Bertone, Justin Mayotte, David Blackwood, and Jillian Rollins of the Hallmark Institute of Photography; all of whom will attribute to her pleasantry and ease of collaboration, some
DMO: What is modeling for you - a dream, passion or job?

Modeling for me had began as a dream of mine. My parents placed the modeling bug in me when I was only 3 yrs old when I did my first photo shoot. I just remember having so much fun dressing up and having my makeup done. I always liked pretend, so it made it easy for me to get into character. Modeling for me became a passion when I was 19 years old. After running into different scams and such, I almost wanted to throw in the towel, but I couldn't get rid of that feeling that I wanted to continue modeling. I study different looks and styles of modeling by taking different images that I've seen, either on the net or in magazines. Tear them out or save them and then study them. It's something that has never lost my interest or attention.

DMO: Do you feel that Eliza Ray embodies you as a person or is it an alter ego?

Eliza Ray embodies the stronger side of me, that is never willing to give up without a fight. She's what is projected out to the viewer in any of my photos. When I do a photo shoot, that's just me doing what I love and working it. But when someone sees the actual photo, they don't see me they see Eliza Ray, in their face. She's undeniable, you can't ignore her, and she will not go unnoticed. Eliza Ray embodies my passion for modeling as an art form.

DMO: In what categories, do you fall as a model? (high fashion, commercial, etc.)

I believe that the direction that I have been going has been more high fashion, especially with the work I have to show from my portfolio. But being a model I think that it is also important to be versatile enough to be able to work all avenues of the industry to be successful. Commercial shots are definitely something I want to get into a bit more.

DMO: As a model, what is your sense of style?

Being a model, you always have to walk outside and be prepared for anything looking your best. The only way to look your best is to know what your best assets are and what outfits to wear in order to show them off. Feeling comfortable in what you have on is always an important thing as well. For myself, I know that my legs are my best assets. So I usually wear clothing that is nicely fitted or show them off like shorts, skirts, dresses, or leggings and usually something basic up top like a fitted blouse. I love experimenting with accessories as well, because you can easily switch up a look with a different set of accessories. Like I said, I love dress up! So place me in a closet full of clothes and accessories and leave me there, come back in 3hrs and I will still be mixing and matching!

DMO: Photo shoot or runway, which one do you prefer and why?

Hmmm, good question.
I prefer photo shoots only because I enjoy the feeling of accomplishment once you get to see the finished product. Or even just seeing the raw photos, and I think to myself "Oooo yeah! That's a hot photo!" I get so excited, like a little kid, I can't wait to see the finished work. It's a pretty rewarding feeling.

Runway is where I get instant gratification. I am a huge fan of music and dancing. So I appreciate the merge of modeling and music. I always get that adrenalin rush right before I go out on the runway. Working my hips to the beat of the music, just owning the stage. It's a fun rush, but often too short lived for me to really enjoy, unless it was a 50ft runway. Now that's something I know I'd thoroughly enjoy!

DMO: Are you ever nervous before a show? Why / Why not?

I never get "scared" nervous. I remember my first show I did for David's Bridal in California. I was so focused on remembering the turns and poses that I completely forgot about my face and the photos came out awful. I've gotten better over the years and those nervous jittery feelings don't exist now.  Now I receive more of an amped feeling, because I'm so anxious to get out there and strut my stuff. What can I say, I'm a Leo and I feed off of the attention!

DMO: In your words, what defines a model?

A model is someone, who is versatile first and foremost. Starting as a blank canvas that can mold herself into a vision of art. Exuding confidence, strength, vulnerability, true inner beauty, weakness and so forth when necessary. Positivity is key! I find it that being positive is the best way to get through any difficult situation, and many people request to work with me again because of it! I am glad to be known as good to get along with rather than a pre-madonna. Respect is a great part in the game of networking.

DMO: What do you consider more important in modeling, internal or external beauty?

Not to be cliche, but internal beauty is the key. I believe whole heartedly that if a person has a bad personality, then it will reflect negatively through their photos as well. If you don't have a beautiful personality, then you're missing out on your full potential. It's important to stay confident in your self and positive in order to succeed in this business. Otherwise, you'll allow anything to take you down, and with a lot of people it can be their ego.

DMO: If you could, are there things you would like to eliminate from the modeling industry?

Eliminate? There's always pros and cons to the business. But no, I have no problem taking the good with the bad. I've learned to just take every opportunity as is comes. Flip it into a positive encounter and then let whatever negativity roll right off of me. Dust! I don't let the little things get in my way. I'm burning way too bright to let anything dim my light!

The Captain Dun Deal: Interview

Hello world, Dun Deal - R.N.O. Captain - is a young, talented Dominican but American raised hip hop artist, who was born in Queens, New York but raised in Boston, Mass. He stepped in repping his team Black Flag R.N.O. and he plans on coming out the same way. R.N.O. stands for Real Niggaz Only, which is not only his music group but his family, his movement, his lifestyle, the reason why he does what he does. He started writing at the age of 12 but didn't hit the lab until he was 15. Now he's mastered what it takes to make that realistic, day to day, real life music at the age of 23. His music is as close to "spit what you live" as it's going to get. One thing about Dun Deal and his music, he works hard on making and creating songs for every mood possible. For him, that is always a plus and is something he is really big on.

Black Flag R.N.O. was originated roughly back in 2003-2004. All band members grew up around each other, and been running around together since they were all little kids before the great music, which makes them considered each other family. Like P-89 said in one his upcoming songs "A circle should never brake, it just gets tighter" and that's what they strive on to keep the family circle close and tight and allow no interferance from outsiders. KNOWIMTALKINGBOUT!!!

Right now in this day, Dun Deal is working on his third group project, R.N.O. Vol. 2, with help from his fellow comrades P-89 and Young Rick. Along with other R.N.O. members such as Big O, Dan Rothstein, and In4redd, who have roles in the upcoming project. But it doesn't stop there, DunDeal is also putting together his solo project Captain Status, in addition to P-89's Grind Time and Young Ricks Breaking N Entering - which all Black Flag R.N.O. supporters are heavily anticipating. So the group is constantly working whether it's on group or solo projects.
DMO: How did you establish yourself in R.N.O.?

Well when we started off as Black Flag - it was myself, Young Rick, and P-89 but then there was so many other niggaz screaming it. We decided it was gonna be Black Flag R.N.O. - which came from our very first mixtape named Real Niggaz Only Vol.1. From there it's been a lifestyle ever since, a movement. And I feel like I brought the group together, not taking any credit from anyone else, it's just the way I feel. I see it like this - we a team full of super stars and I'm The Captain and every team has a captain.

DMO: What are the qualities that distinguished R.N.O. from others?

For starters, we all have a different sound. P -89, Young Rick and myself are very diverse - it's like we're all individual groups. We've known each other on a personal level for so long now that's it's only right we deliver that raw, uncut, reality music.

DMO: Where do you find the most inspiration for your lyrics?

I find inspiration when I sit back and think about some of the wild shit I been through or something hectic one of my niggaz is going through; or thinking about my close ones that I've lost that use to love my music. Telling me to keep going with it no matter what such as my two main guys Sam Goody and Gee (R.I.P.). Also listening to one of my favorite rappers song that happen to just hit me for a certain reason.

DMO: Outside of R.N.O., who have you collabed with?

Aww man outside of my camp - I've done songs with Duce Banga, Boss Young'n, T.I.T.O, Big Mike, L-Eazy, HoodRich, Cream, Sin The Boss, Peter Beatz. We did a song with the big homie Bully from D-Block and the list goes on and it's only gonna keep going.

DMO: From the mix tapes that you've done, which song is your favorite?

Hmm... this is a tough one! I'm going to have to say the song called "R.N.O." because I feel like that was the group anthem. Not to mention it had myspace going crazy - and of course all 3 verses were bonkers.

DMO:  Which era of hip hop do you favor?

I'm a '86 baby so I'll say mid to late 90's going into the new millennium. That's where I learned everything, all the basics and so on.

DMO: What is/are the first thought(s) in your mind when you wake up?

The first thoughts in my mind when I wake up is money, music and family. I feel those are the most important factors in my life, therefore I think about making them better everytime I wake up.

DMO: What are you working on at the moment?

Right now, I'm focused on the group project R.N.O. Vol.2. P-89, Young Rick and myself are all working on solo projects as well.

DMO: Who do you admire and why?

I admire my pops n my moms for giving me what I needed and setting me straight when I needed to be. Also I admire my R.N.O. family - that's my inspiration. Along with my main guy GOODY who's not here with us anymore god bless his soul. I do this for the homies that wanted to see me do this but can't cuz they not here... In the physical form that is.

DMO: Ten years do you believe that Hip Hop will become stronger?

Of course hip hop will become stronger, the closer R.N.O. gets to the game the stronger the game will get. We are a breath of fresh air. The rap game is looking ugly and we here to give it that make over.

Sikai : The Interview !

Connecticut based rapper & song writer Sikai brings his own world and words to life with charisma and originality; whether “heart-felt” or “have-fun” music he has become the go-to guy. Standing at just 5′7″ on stage, there is a plan to become a giant in the hip-hop community. Recording since the tender age of eleven years old, Sikai has shown much growth on every project since, and although very much independent has gained a natural following and initial fan base with a promise of more listeners to come.

Opening up for acts such as Serani, J. Cole, and Jim Jones allows the dream to meet reality. Sikai has also received radio play on New York’s very own Power 105.1, one of the biggest radio stations in the tri-state area to date. An appearance that then landed him a spot on a Power 105.1 mixtape released this year entitled “The New NY” hosted by Power 105.1’s own DJ Suss One and Jovann The Last Don. Sikai has since performed at many different college events, local, and out of town venues with hopes to generate a household name in the future. His versatile rapping and writing style makes him hard to compare and much harder to ignore.
DMO: How did the name Sikai come about?

Sikai: (LOL) It's funny because the name Sikai actually came about when i first started letting my music be heard publicly. I had tried a few artistic names before it but none that were actually good or any that I would want to mention today (LOL). But back then it was basically if you did Hip-Hop music you were either sick meaning good or wack meaning bad, so as I let some of my raps and records surface to some of my closest friends they began calling me Sick Ky. My first name is Kyrey so friends and family would call me Ky for short. And from Sick Ky came Sikai and it just worked for me.

DMO: What is your greatest accomplishment so far?

Sikai: Hmmm..I've done a lot, but I always know there's so much more that I'm aiming for and that there's such a long way to go in an industry like this. I would say my greatest accomplishment is just being able to have a solid fan base and support behind me from the people I work with and my family of course. That's what actually keeps me focus because you often times get discouraged when you're not where you want to be in your career or in life....But I take the opportunities given to me and just try to benefit from them and that way it's possible to open up for names like J. Cole, Red Cafe, Jim Jones, or people who you look up to because of the music they make or position they hold in such a difficult game. I've been blessed with those opportunities and I'll continue to keep pressing on.

DMO: How was your experience doing the college tour?

Sikai: The tour was great. I actually never got to experience college life before the tour because I didn't choose that route after high school to attend college. I took up a trade, which of course involved music and wanting to learn more of the business side of the entertainment, but when you're actually away from home on a campus somewhere it's pretty cool. I got to experience the college party nights. Some of those places get wild, but It was basically just kids trying to have a good time and enjoy their time away at school. Most importantly was the fact that they appreciate music a lot more. College kids give the most support in my opinion. It seems like music helps them to get through the college experience when they can relate to the content. You make a song about being broke and being unable to pay back student loans they'll relate to that (LOL). If you decide you want to make a song about partying, smoking, and drinking they'll relate to that too. It gave me an understanding of how much music can influence people who have no wish to make music at all. It helps people who just love to listen get through their day.

DMO: Knowing that you travel a lot, where do you believe you have developed the most fans?

Sikai: I have to say Connecticut. It's my home state so it makes sense (LOL). I travel a lot, but I'm still around CT quite a bit. There are so many places that show love and support though. I was out in Massachusetts and they were very supportive out there as well New York and Rhode Island, but I just need more of a presence I believe, especially on the internet. I'm still working hard to gain more fans and hopefully become a household name one day. People have to see you doing things out of the ordinary to believe in the music sometimes. I like to believe the music is enough to draw them in, but promotion is key and having a team behind you for help. These labels like to see that you have established yourself with fans before they even work with you. There's too much money to lose if you don't have a strong enough following for your project to sell.

DMO: Now that fans have heard Gooney Tunes 1, what can we expect on Gooney Tunes 2, and who will be collaborating with?

Sikai: Gooney Tunes 2 will be out late in the year. I put that series on hold to release some other projects in the mean time. I liked Gooney Tunes, but it was more of a street mixtape and I wanted to put out some music that says a bit more about me as a person and an artist. Don't get me wrong its a great project. Wiz Khailfa and his team co-signed it, and me being a fan of his work that really meant a lot to me when i got the chance to meet him. I'll be back with DJ Rated R once I'm finished recording for volume 2. You can expect that street edge back into Sikai's music once Gooney Tunes 2 is out, but of course never shying away from the artist that I am. I like to experiment with different sounds because I am very diverse. I'm not a street artist I'm just an artist. My next project will be called "The Shoulda Been An Album Mixtape". The music is a full 360 from Gooney Tunes and it is album standard. I'm just showing people that I'm not a mixtape artist, but when you have no budget yo have to start somewhere until you can get to where you want to be.

DMO: Besides talent, what emotions have you put into your work?

Sikai: I've literally put everything into my music. All of my time and energy goes into this, and it's beautiful when you start actually seeing positive results. You know that it wasn't just for nothing. The term blood sweat and tears would sound like a walk in the park compared to what I've been through to get to just where I am today. It takes a lot more, but my heart is in it so I could never walk away from it. Music has been the most constant thing in my life. There have always been people that just walk in and out on me as they please. I've been experiencing that my whole life so when there's no one to talk to I'll grab the notepad and just start jotting. Everything that I go through or that I see will literally become a song. That's just how I am. I take note of everything and make sure that I put it out from my point of view. This game is very emotional because it's not really based on talent so much anymore. I will never knock another artist and say that they don't deserve the success they've obtained because it's hard work to make that happen. You deserve every fan you get.

DMO: When will there be a music video?

Sikai: Very Soon. It's in the works and it's been a long time coming. There will be a few to be honest.

DMO: As a Connecticut rapper, do you find it more difficult to establish yourself?

Sikai: I do because we've been overlooked. The thing that makes it so difficult is the lack of support that CT actually gives to itself. We've just been able to start making moves and I think the future for CT looks very promising, but we have to make sure that we're calling the shots, and not these other people who come from other places telling us what's hot and what's not. Every place has their own type of music that they consider hot whether or not any other place agrees with them like Oakland, California with hyphy music and Atlanta, Georgia with their new futuristic sound they've created. They make it hot for themselves and they back it with the support of their town and/or state. Eventually other places can't ignore that music any longer and have to listen. That's all CT needs to do and we can make it. We don't need to wait for any other place to tell us what's hot. We just need to know for ourselves and stand behind it.

DMO: What keeps you going?

Sikai: My family. I do music for me because it helps me relate to people and vent in my own way, but I also keep family in mind to get them to a better situation. I've been working since I was 9 years old cleaning up in a barbershop for $30 a week until I was 16 and able to officially work. I know what it's like to work hard and coming from a single parent household where it was just my mother there I know what it's like to struggle. You dream of being able to take your family away from that. I always just wanted my family to be happy and I work hard consistently so that I can make that a reality for them. If music is the ticket then I wouldn't want it any other way. I would be succeeding with two things that I love.

DMO: What is something the fans have yet to know about Sikai?

Sikai: (LOL) That I'm very silly. I'm serious when it comes to music and the business, but I like to laugh. I'm always joking and to be honest you may not know when I'm serious or not anymore after dealing with me for a period of time. I get that a lot from the people I work with. They don't know what to think when I say certain things (LOL). We have a ball on the road though when we're driving for hours to different shows. We all like to laugh after dealing with so much of the business end so it's good to laugh a little bit. I'm forever serious about music though and you can't take that from me. I've been dedicated for years.

Make sure you follow me on twitter @SikaiMusic, and also become a Sikai fan on facebook. Log onto SikaiMusic.com and just listen to the music and show your love and support or message me with whatever criticism you may have. I appreciate it all.

PA Jewelry

Perpetual Anastasia Hayfron was born in Worcester, Massachusetts to parents of West African descent. Her mother is from Liberia and her father is from Ghana. In 2008 she graduated from Burncoat High School in Worcester. During that time, she participated in the T.A.P (Teen Apprenticeship Program) program for two years and took several art classes, specifically, glassblowing, textiles, wood and metals. She took what she learned from that program and implemented those skills to create her own jewelry.

Perpetual transferred from Bay State College in 2009 and currently attends New England Institute of Art pursuing a B.S in Fashion and Retail Management. Since moving to the Boston area she has collaborated with local designers such as Olivia Chow, and Samenta Agee. She also displayed her work during Boston Fashion Week in 2009 and received reviews from the Boston Bazaar stating her work as “revolutionary” and that “Her wire pieces of bronze, coppers, and gold with splashes of color transformed art structures into couture jewelry of the future.”

Perpetual pieces consist of brass, copper, and steel wire and are inspired by simple shapes. Her pieces are one of a kind and come in a variety of shapes and sizes.

DMO: When did it all start?

I created my first piece of jewelry when I was fifteen at this program called T.A.P (teen apprenticeship program) I participated in during high school. Perpetual Anastasia Jewelry didn't officially launch until September 27, 2009 when I did my first showcase in Boston Fashion Week with iMan Fashion Group.

DMO: What's behind Perpetual Anastasia Jewelry?

What's behind Perpetual Anastasia Jewelry is my determination to live up to my name. Perpetual means everlasting and I want my pieces to leave an "everlasting" impression on everyone who sees and wears them.

DMO: Where did you get your artist flare from?

Since I was a child I always was doing creative things from drawing pictures to creating my own nail polish colors. I went to Girls Incorporated of Worcester everyday and you could always find me in the arts and crafts room or the kitchen since I love to eat. The women on my mother's side of the family are also creative. My mother was a caterer, I have a cousin who designs clothing, and a sister who is an interior designer.

DMO: How do you strive to be unique?

The thing that makes me unique is that I don't strive to be. I am who I am and that's all I can be. Everyone in the world was born unique so there's no need to try we just need to all be ourselves.

DMO: Is there a designer that you find inspiration from?

I pull much of my inspiration from simple shapes such as squares, triangles, circles etc.

DMO: Besides jewelry, what other aspects of design or fashion would you like to get involved in?

Jewelry is my first love. I've been playing with the idea of creating my own textiles and hair accessories. I'd also like to get involved in the legal aspects of the fashion industry.

DMO: How are you finding your way in pursuing something great?

I'm finding my way in pursuing something great by know where I'm going and not forgetting where I came from. I also surround myself with positive, intelligent, innovative, creative individuals which provides a positive atmosphere around me. I feel as long as I stay positive, dedicated to my craft, determined, open minded and harbor a burning desire to learn each an everyday whenever I can there is no way I cannot succeed.

DMO's Exclusive Interview With 617's Own Dizzy !

DMO : Why Rap?

DIzzy: For those who don’t know I am a young, hardworking, and talented artist that brings forth a diverse selection of music along with my own sound. I am an artist that has the ability to connect with various demographics of people, and unify while connecting. I feel people should listen to me because no matter what record they hear me on I always have something to say. Everyone’s a rapper nowadays and it doesn’t upset me because, it’s the rappers that actually are saying something in their music that are remembered. I want to be remembered! Great music isn't hard to enjoy.

DMO : What motivates you to rap and who do you believe is you're biggest inspiration?

DIzzy: Everytime I write music I always have my fans and supporters in mind, because if it wasn't for them I wouldn't be where I'm at in my career. My quote " Motivate The Motivators " is about creating a cycle of hardwork, support, and unity. Being motivated by hardwork of others, and then also working hard and being the motivation of the next individual. My experiences in life are my biggest inspiration. I put my life over instrumentals and it just so happens people can relate , and love it.

DMO: In few words, how would you describe your style/lyrics?

DIzzy: In your face, clean, iPod must, music!

DMO: Have you collaborate with anyone and who?

DIzzy: I've had the honor of working with artist such as 3 4 Da Stripes, L-Ski, Man-U-ILL, Radio City, Vendetta, Picasso P, D- Money just to name a few. I enjoy working with all these artist, i support all artist and enjoy making great music. So if you have a fan base and you want to collab hit me up, Bookingdizzy@gmail.com.

DMO: What is your opinion on the Rap game in Boston and the industry?

DIzzy: I love my city and always will. I cant speak to much on the past but the future is looking very good. I feel the talent is here for the most part, and artist are becoming more professional and are comming together to create great music. So Overall the future for Boston music is bright. We just have to grind to get the respect we deserve.

DMO Who is your favorite rapper of today?

DIzzy: I honestly am a fan of my music. I feel before anyone else can support and believe in you , you have to support and believe in yourself. I started off a fan, and have been my hugest critic. Other than myself I have to say my favorite rapper is Lil Wayne. He's one of few people that motivates me to work hard just by seeing his face or his name, and to me thats powerful.
One million records sold in one week any other artist would be poppin bottles, he was recording. So that right there shows you his work ethic. Im proud to be a fan of Lil Wayne.

DMO: If there is any other talent that you would focus on besides rapping, what would it be?

DIzzy: I'm a pretty good football player, #2 from the Jeremiah Burke Highschool is a respected jersey. If it wasnt for breaking my ankle a few years back we probly wouldnt be having this interview.. At one point in time football was all I knew but I no longer have that type of love for the sport. I'd pick music any day.

DMO: Where do you see yourself in the future with this talent of yours?

DIzzy: I plan to be a household name, everyday i wake up i will continue to work hard and put out quality music until that is a reality. At the end of all of this I want people to love and respect my music. I want to be a respected artist in the game forever. I want to headline major shows , sell out arenas. Sell millions of records and tour the world. I want to be that success story.

And if possible effect another individuals life in a positive way. "Motivate The Motivators" -Dizzy

TOUCH THE SKY CLOTHING: Timothy Lassiter

Timothy Lassiter, a North Carolina born - Boston bound designer brings us a pure developing talent and passion. With an exclusive interview — we found out the facts behind him and Touch The Sky Clothing Co., which he coproduce with friend, Your'Majesty Gilmore.

De M.O.
:

Let's know a little bit about yourself?

T. Lassiter:
I was born in North Carolina on May 22,1991; I'm the youngest out of ten. My firat love is basketball and basketball is actually a big reason I started to design clothes (well atleast tees). From 7th grade through high school, I would make custom shirts with basketball pictures and sell them or just wear it for myself. I didn't really like when the rockstar fad and whole skinny jeans and too much tight shit. Plus there were messages on the clothing that was whack like atleast if your gonna make clothes don't just throw whatever is hot on it you have to bring your personal style... So my 11th grade year, I started the clothing line along with my long time friend Your'Majesty Gilmore.

De M.O
. :
Do you know when was the first time it hit you that you wanted to design or was it simply a source of self-expression?

T. Lassiter:
I was always in to art, like everyone who was close to me knew if I wasn't playing ball - I was drawing something. For an artist you love to see people admire your creation.
I'll say it was fall of my 11th grade year and I was at a store with my mom and some jeans had death written across the seat of the pants. Thats when I said, "Whoa people are just putting out anything now who better to offer an alternative then me."

Besides the obvious .. Touch The Sky .. Why and how long did it take you and your boy to come up with it?

T. Lassiter
:
Well it was actually a female
And we came up for the name one night on aim just shooting out ideas back and forth. And I said what about TTS and she's like what does that mean i said Touch THe Sky Clothing Co. whats flyer then that! But it took us a couple months maybe four to actually get everything together as far as registering the business, coming up with some solid designs, and also making connections with people who could help us start in a good space.
I went to my computer teacher, who also taught a course on entrepreneurship and I got some advice from her and a text book and read everything I felt like could help me.

De M.O.
:
What did you keep in mind that made you see that things were definitely possible?

T. Lassiter
:
I really just kept in my mind that if I want to do something I have to believe in myself first. If I had no one helping me I would still be doing the same things I'm doing because I have a vision on where I want to go.

De M.O.
:
What are articles of clothing that you are making or see yourself making later on?

T. Lassiter
:
As of now I make scarves tee sweaters and hoodies for men and women. I want to move on to hats jackets even some accessories; But the possibilities are really endless !
I really want to branch the brand out to many things like music movies and just art like thats where my mind is at.

De M.O.
:
So in the future, near or far, what would you want to ultimately call yourself?

T. Lassiter
:
An artist...
That word embodies my life. every action is self expression.
Every piece of art is a piece of its creator.

De M.O.
:
So you're studying for a degree in Graphic Design...

T. Lassiter
:
Yes - I chose GD so I wouldn't limit myself to fashion.

De M.O.
:
What is your favorite item that you've designed so far?

T. Lassiter
:
This shirt called "Dead Presidents" because I just felt like you I'm mad ill after I designed it.
Shit that would be the illest pic to use because its epic lol

De M.O.
:
What are some words that you would use to describe TTS?

T. Lassiter
:

If I was describing TTS I would say oringinal, creative, timeless, innovative, and pure.

De M.O.
:
And the logo ?

T. Lassiter
:
The logo is pretty self explanatory - reach for your sky until you own it. Touch The Sky means go for your goals and don't worry about naysayers and haters conquer your dreams; the cloud is cloud nine.
